Return & Complaint Policy
As all products from Ruffle & Thread Atelier are custom-made according to each customer’s specifications — including monograms, embroidery, and personalized details — they fall under the exception to the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59, Chapter 2, Section 11).

This means that returns, exchanges, or cancellations cannot be accepted for personalized products once production has begun.

We kindly ask all customers to review their order carefully before completing their purchase.

Complaints
We take great pride in our craftsmanship and quality standards. However, if you unexpectedly receive a defective product, a product damaged during delivery, or an item with an embroidery error, you have the right to file a complaint in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Purchase Act (2022:260).

To submit a complaint, please contact us at info@ruffleatelier.com within seven (7) days of receiving your order and include:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Clear photos showing the product and the defect

Once we have reviewed your case, we will respond as soon as possible with an appropriate solution.

If the complaint is approved, we may offer a replacement product, repair, partial refund, or full refund depending on the nature of the issue.

Please note that due to the use of natural materials and small-scale production methods, minor variations in color, texture, shape, and finish may occur between products. Exact color reproduction cannot be guaranteed, as many of our products are produced in limited batches and partly by hand. These variations are considered a natural part of the product’s character and uniqueness and are not regarded as defects.

Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable consumer protection legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made according to a customer’s specific instructions or products featuring personalized details.

As all embroidery and personalization are made specifically for each order, cancellations, returns, or exchanges are not possible once production has started.
